November 24, 2018 - Drank at our friends' 20th Wedding Anniversary party. This was perfectly OK but really unmemorable. I was very surprised when I checked its price point the following morning.

April 27, 2018 - Served blind, red/brown color, slightly acrid, sweettart, unpleasant. Maybe VA here or heat damage - hope this is due to a flawed bottle but maybe they just didn't do well in '98.

February 7, 2013 - Griotte-Chambertin Dinner (Graham Elliot - Chicago IL): Tasted single blind. Open 3 hours, not decanted. Lean, seemingly slightly under-ripe. Others felt there was reduction and sulfur that never dissipated. Good red and black cherry but nuance or charm never really developed. Perhaps an imperfect bottle? This wasn't nearly at the same level as I last recall from 3-5 years ago.
