  October 16, 2019 - Bulgarian wines - Have the blockbusters improved ? (Wineground Bottles&Beans - Varna): Most Powerful when opened, bursting with fruit and some oaky spices, later with time the wine developed fantastic, smoothen out and iodine notes emerge to transform it purely into the WOTN.
  Looking at my other notes on this wine, who would've thought?

  November 26, 2018 - Well slightly disappointed, the make up is evident and the fruit slighly on the overripe scale, the wine is holding well, but really it is not showing any sense of place and it was well behind Antinori red 09, the same night.

  February 9, 2014 - Decanted for an hour, homogenous body with an interesting oily nuances that adds to the richness of flavors. Well made that just start to become drinkable but potential here 5-6 years easy.

  February 1, 2014 - *SIGH* This is a well-made, well balanced, good fruit. There's a lot of very very good Bulgarian red wine now, though little has yet to get export markets. Good grapes, good varietes, good winemaking. The annoying thing is the widespread tendency to a lack of any varietal or regional *character* at all.
