September 12, 2022 - PnP and drank over 2 hours. No detailed notes. After 10 minutes, it got more interesting. Getting toward the end of its life. Drink up.

February 25, 2022 - Not many notes. Just enjoyed. Expressive nose on opening but shy fruit on the palate. Double decanted. Fruit popped up after 30 minutes. Red fruit, herbs de Provence, firm tannins. Was very satisfied. Went well with a juicy hamburger with garlic chips, sticky cheese toppings and truffle fries.

  • Melmoth Likes this wine:

May 10, 2020 - Sous-bois was hiding until after 3 days under vacu-vin. Some real complexity to be gained through patience or extended decant. Beautiful fruit and minerality. Excellent with charcuterie and chevre. Plenty of upside left with this.

March 9, 2019 - PNP. cork perfect. color crimson. my nose is a ittle off tonight. swishing shows completely integrated structure with polish and just a hint of stem tannin on finish. sipping shows full on fruit and glossy body with some weight. this has really improved in bottle - ready t go and i doubt there is anywhere to go but down from here.

April 20, 2017 - Drinking very well right now; Developing aromatics of dark fruits, forest floor and licorice, with a medium-bodied palate with an herbal tone that is suave and supple on the finish; Not the most complex wine in the world, but an excellent weeknight sipper
