December 9, 2015 - dark red, opaque, in the color. black fruit, cherry, earth, spice, on the nose. blueberry, cherry, pepper, spice, cedar, on the palate. medium acid, medium tannins, on the finish.

September 13, 2014 - Showing very well. Smooth black fruit, clay-like earthiness (true to the vineyard), good complexity. hint of mint, good acidity. Oak is well in the background. Quite nice to drink now.

January 4, 2014 - came in 3rd in group blind tasting out of 8 California cabs all from 2010. Was my 1st. I found it with a touch of menthol and slight oaky. Nice finish
