  July 7, 2013 - Enjoyed at Waters Coastal Cuisine Fort Worth TX. Man, what a Rose wine! Amazed at the depth and complexity of this Relic wine. Popped and poured - the wine was showing some strawberry and red raspberry on the nose, hint of sweetness. The palate was all red fruit density with strawberry, raspberry and alcoholic red twizzler. The alcohol back to this wine kept it showing well in the mid-palate. The wine was an excellent accoutrement to salmon and two kinds of white fish that had a variety of sauces, vegetables, etc. This wine was a rock star. Did amazingly well. The finish of this wine is a little alcoholic, mineral-rich, and just delicious. I'm not really comfortable rating a rose of pinot noir wine as I might have a Rose wine a few times per year but this I will say - if you have a table of folks who are eating lots of different lighter dishes, this one is a no brainer. Just try to make your wine snobs accept that they're drinking pink wine. Drink now.
