September 2, 2015 - Tastes like a Napa cab, interesting, but I don't get the higher scores as it is not well integrated now, I will hold my last bottle.

November 9, 2014 - A match made in heaven for grilled ribeye- just wish I had the whole bottle to myself instead of splitting it 4 ways! Just beautiful

September 5, 2013 - Premium wine worth it's price. Decanted 2.5 hours and served with seared filet, steamed broccoli, and baked potatoes. Inky, cloudy, black cherry color. Nose of an earthy, funky raspberry patch, eucalyptus, dried cranberries, raisins, and chalk. Extremely silky, textured, and sweet palate of plush blackberries, coffee, leather, plums, mushrooms, tobacco, black currant, tar, and even a hint of ripe strawberries. Finish is delicate yet sturdy and lasts 30-seconds+, bringing cherry cola, more chalk, chocolate cherries, and a touch of guava juice. Acidity and tannins integrating nicely but this wine will go another 10-20 years easily. Extremely smooth, esquisitly crafted, and an all-around enjoyable food wine. Highly recommend it. Bravo!
