  May 15, 2011 - Rich red color; cedar overtones. Very smooth on the palate. Hints of jam and spice. Chewy fruit with mild tannins. This is a very good cabernet franc.

  February 9, 2008 - Deep ruby color, with a surprisingly green nose, herbal with dark fruit. The tannins were still present, but not overpowering. Berries and oak linger.

  March 5, 2006 - Deep, ruby red/maroon color. Fresh smelling nose of balck and red fruits with a solid overlay of violets and some fresh herbs. Medium body with ripe tannins and very good acidity. Mouth coating flavors of mixed crushed berries, some herbs, and spicy oak. Lingering finish with sweet berries and oak. With some time, hopefully the oak will better integrate making this an outstanding wine.

  December 23, 2005 - Dark maroon color. A nice nose with spicy cherry and a hint of dried herbs and flowers. Not big and bold like a Bordeaux style Cab Franc, but very tasty.

  March 28, 2005 - On the nose wonderful floral aromas of violets with a touch of tobacco and cedar. Ripe flavors of blackcherry, mocha and rich current. On the finish, tannins are present but mild and well integrated.
