November 26, 2016 - Double blind. Raspberry and chocolate aromas and flavors with a raspberry liqueur quality in the finish. A bit hot. Guessed Syrah.

February 28, 2015 - Solid mid range Amarone. Medium weight, light on the dried corvina flavors. Good balance of fruit and acidity, food friendly.

September 18, 2014 - While not earth-shattering, this winery does a wonderful job of producing a true Amarone experience at a very affordable price. Bravo!

July 8, 2014 - Drank more like a regular valpo, missing out of the dried corvina flavors. Unto itself drinking nicely with a bold backbone, moderate acidity and dark fruit. Just not overly Amarone like.

November 17, 2013 - This wine is the starting point to be able to fully appreciate the land from which it originates: the Valpolicella. It is a wine with a good structure and moderate alcohol content which makes it particularly versatile in food pairings.

Taste: pleasantly fruity, balanced and round
Pairings : Goes well with pasta dishes, white and red meats up to roast game and "salumi".
