September 25, 2021 - Black cherry and briery black raspberry fruit with fennel, lit cigar, dry forest floor and mushrooms. Medium bodied, powdery tannin with great acid, length and complexity.

A really great bottle, in a really fantastic place right now but with all the stuff it needs to keep going. Better then a lot of Burgundy and half the price, great value!

March 2, 2021 - Excellent pour after much time in cellar. Belle robe & very good fruit flavors, like a pinot noir. Good length and beckons for a second/third glass on night 1. Superb QPR at the time. The old vines gave it some class!

January 24, 2017 - Haven't had much experience with Morgon, I feel like the wine needs some more age to reach its full potential.

March 16, 2015 - Asphalt(ish) and minerally notes underneath a layer of black cherries and raspberry. Juicy on the palate, if a little one dimensional. Nice drink that would probably benefit from a year or two in the cellar, as it seems to be in that awkward place between showing young, bright fruit and showing more developed, darker notes.

January 3, 2015 - Bright and plummy, showing generous fruit on a frame of moderate tannins and fresh acid. Dark soil and mineral notes, but also very floral with such pure, bright fruit. Seems worthy of a year or two to see what complexities start to come out.
