September 24, 2010 - 100% Pinotage. Deep purple color. Red berries and alcohol nose. Medium bodied palate: dark cherries and oak up front. Tar and dirt flavors come across high on the palate. Definitely shows a bit of that loveable – for me, at least – Pinotage funk. Medium length finish. Very good – a solid serviceable Pinotage.

June 20, 2009 - The nose is fruity at first, then morphs into smoky resin and menthol. Quite smooth in the mouth, some bitterness at the front, balanced with a little tannin at the end - there isn't any stand-out flavour, fruit or otherwise, but there's a texture which goes on for a long time, with a hint of ash. which detracts a little. 84-85pts

September 5, 2007 - Clear dense raspberry core that extends all the way out to a very thin grapefruit pink rim. Wine looks young. On the nose it is clean, medium intense nose of wet clay, exotic flowers, and strawberry jam. A bit of light oak and hightened alc. are also noted. The palate is dry with very high acid, , moderate + tannin and a medium fruit intensity of black fruits. Spice, wood chips, mud and a bit of metalicness back up the fruit. medium + body with a moderate lenth of dirt and charred wood.
Average quality, drink now through next year.

February 4, 2007 - Blackberries, very pronounced smoky finish, mellowing after being open for a while.

October 9, 2006 - Very nice Earthy wine with red berries and Cherry Aroma. Even Stronger on the Second Day.

Very good Value for this low Price
