June 30, 2019 - 1-011. Bought a case of 12 at an auction earlier this month for EUR 28 a bottle.; scored 94 pnt in Wine Spectator in 2013, just 1600 cases made. Lovely smell of eucalyptus, menthol, laurel, later on also cherry, tabac, plum, liquorice, clove and a hint of vanilla. We found the smell more pronounced than the taste was - still a bit closed, but splendid glass with the home-made fries and steak, our typical Sunday night dinner.

August 25, 2017 - Perfect now, fine balanced medium bodied wine, good acidity, mellow tannin.

Tobinski Likes this wine:
July 17, 2016 - Beautiful aromas of dark red cherry, tobacco, and grilled herbs. Firm tannins have some bite, but aren't too forbidding. The palate is dry, with concentrated cherry and a touch of earth. Nice length.

July 12, 2016 - Maturing nose with a bit off dried fruit, cherries, dry wood, dark chocolate and a bit of tobacco. Dry on the palate with a medium acidity, medium+ body, medium tannins and a medium intensity. Lacks a bit of acidity and focus to be really exciting, also somewhat short and warm on the finish.
