January 26, 2024 - Amber tawny in color. Nose is candied fruit, Madeira rancio, florals, nuttiness, turpentine. Palate is medium viscocity, with notes of caramel, figs, developing some of that tertiary nuttiness that comes with older port. A hair too simple on the palate, but decent QPR. 1992 was a fairly mediocre year, but this is solid (though not spectacular) for a 30 year colheita. Paired beautifully with Azerbaijani layered honey cake.

December 24, 2023 - For about €47 this was a great value Colheita.
Fig, raisin, brown sugar, roasted almond, some caramel/toffee and just a tiny bit of red fruits and orange. Nice balance between acidity, sweetness and oxidation.1 person found this helpful Comment -

December 31, 2019 - This is a nice example for friends who never tried vintage port. It is a good wine with no faults but lacks depth & complexity. Classic nutty aromas but not much else. Still a good wine to finish a nice meal.
