  July 15, 2009 - some seepage on this cork and first thought on aromatics is that this is farther along than the other btls ive had. glorious aromatics of ripe blueberry, meats, boysenberry, ink,and perfume. what a nose. Silky texture, vibrant acidity, ripe blue fruits, very low tannin. only let down is the finish which is a touch short. med - in length.

  March 14, 2007 - Popped and poured. This wine is a blend of 59% Shiraz and 41% Cabernet and exhibited a inky purple color. On the nose, aromas of plums, black raspberries, dark chocolate and spices were present with hints of earthiness. On the palate, flavors of cranberries and spices were present with hints of licorice and graphite leading to a spicy finish. A bit disjointed but I believe primarily due to the need for more bottle age or a decent decant. HS89
