August 2, 2022 - Opened, poured into a decanter, and tasted using a Grassl Cru glass.
Enjoyed with food (grilled sausage and grilled onions and summer squash, with fried fingerling potatoes, in case you were wondering).
Saved 1/2 in a 375ml bottle and tasted the following day.
Ruby garnet color.
Inviting floral nose with red fruit and some dusty earth notes.
Good red fruited flavor with a spice and herbal base. Shows some rhubarb and slight hint of dried orange peel. Flavor profile shows a cool Anderson Valley vineyard.
Quite good.
Quality branded cork without vintage or wine.
13.8% abv. -

March 28, 2020 - Still singing! If you have this wine, your going to be happy. Decant for 1 hour and enjoy a dusty colored pinot with a pretty nose that is very representative of the wine. Big fruit that tastes of light candied cherry, rhubarb, raspberry and spice. Very light body with huge flavor. Long, long, finish. This wine has years in front of it. Well made start finish.
