Community Tasting Notes 2

September 28, 2013 - No formal notes. Drunk during a warm fall day. A touch too sweet for my palate. I remember the winemaker said that this Rosé had skin contact for almost a full day. As a result, there is a very dark color for a rose (almost like a pinot noir). This tasted better on a hot day in Napa over the summer when we purchased a bottle. In short: underwhelming.

June 1, 2013 - A bit on the sweet side with just barely enough acid to pull it through. Poor QPR as there are literally hundreds of European Rose's that are much more crisp and rounded and consequently food friendly. This is okay, but barely holds up to many foods due the sweetness. Notes of Strawberry and watermelon.
