February 26, 2021 - Two hour decant, perhaps could’ve use a bit more as was at its best abt 4hrs. Nose of cherries and cassis. Rich mouth with leather and the last sip was chocolate covered cherries. Excellent wine.

July 24, 2020 - Decanted an hour and it opened up over another hour of sipping. Nice nose of cherries, plum, cola and leather, graphite. Velvety tannins. Sour cherry finish and started getting bitter. Better in first two hours.

September 3, 2019 - Nothing short of spectacular. Aging fabulously. Get more if you can.
The wine looks violet colored. There is light sediment in the bottle. The body is medium/full.

August 7, 2017 - Decanted three hours. Wine threw a fair bit of sediment. Lots of plum. Tannins were smooth. Short finish. Ready to go.

October 14, 2016 - Wine is a deep, rich ruby colour. Plum flavours with a hint of coffee. Tannins are a little edgy and the body is a little light but otherwise a nice bottle and easy to drink.
Update: wine softened after being open for about an hour. Tannins have disappeared and texture is smooth.
