April 21, 2024 - Great wine with deep rich flavors. Fruit is still young and fresh with raspberries, currants and strawberries draped over a solid core of earth and flint. Finish just keeps going. Wine has years to go.

November 5, 2023 - Eucalyptus, methanol, black tar, plum and black currant on the nose. Medium tannins, minimal length, low on fruit. Did ok considering isn’t a great vintage.

May 26, 2023 - See rmcnees notes on this from 5/26. One of an 18 bottle flight for our quarterly wine group dinner.

May 26, 2023 - Dark garnet colored, medium bodied, pure, bright expressive black and red currant fruits with notes of earth, black licorice, anise and hints of cedar turning to silky smooth polished tannins on the moderate finish.

January 26, 2021 - licorice, leather, red currant, blackberries, asian spice, cedar, and forest floor.

Mountains generally do better in cold years in Napa. Nice perfume, the fruit is expressive but definitely can see its not as rich as the warmer years. Smooth and finessed. Nice stuff.
