Community Tasting Notes 12

September 26, 2016 - Straw; nose shows light citrus and sharper orchard fruit, apple and pear, lime, slight sour orange, honey notes accentuated a bit more with bottle age, crisp, mineral; great QPR, was worried about age but this is still drinking well.

April 11, 2014 - Pale yellow in color, this wine revealed green apple, bosc pear, lime and chalky notes on the nose. The mouth feel was crisp with bright acidity and lime zest elements. The finish was medium with the racy acidity lingering.

Purchased for $9.49US, this is an excellent Summer Sipper and an outstanding qpr. The 11.5% abv is perfect for this type of wine. I'll be buying more of this for sure.

February 15, 2014 - After sitting in the glass for 90 minutes; very pale yellow with green hues; duller nose, lemon, pear, apple, honey came out with air, Pellegrino bitterness; cooler this showed more citrus but warmer more red apple and pear, crisp mineral finish; tasty.
