  June 20, 2020 - Fresh and clean with smooth black and red fruit: black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, rhubarb and subtle herbal notes, there's even a nice spice on the finish. Silky on the mid-palate, which gives way to a slight cedary/ woody note - but it is mainly in the background and does not interfere. This is one of those wines that I wonder why I did not buy more - yes I bought 3 at the time, but I now know I should have invested in more. Damn.

  April 2, 2015 - Dark in color with a lovely nose of red berries and cherries coming through, typical of a Napa Cab. On the mid pallet the wine displays cherries, cassis and red berries to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays some acidity and some spice. This isn’t the most fruit forward cab but it is quite nice. I would give it 6 months or so in the cellar or a bit of breathing to help the acidity die down and allow the fruit to shine through.

  January 15, 2015 - vanilla and ripe cherry, with hints of cinnamon and some milk chocolate. This was the rich, full wine I knew he'd love and on the finish it put out lingers of black cherry, chocolate, and mocha-latte.

  November 1, 2014 - Full body, bigger than expected. Nose of leather and tobacco. Dark berry, dried cherry. Good structure, firm tannins.
