April 6, 2024 - Certainly not your basic pot de côtes! Deep and substantial. In essence, a baby Corna. Has many years left.

August 5, 2023 - Drinking like a mini-Cornas, this is showing all the fixers in terms of iron, blood and stone; black olives galore. With a couple of hours of air this is smooth as the vintage, cool, calm and collected - and ready fir business with plenty of orimary fruit. Will have a long life, but no sin to drink it now.

January 28, 2023 - Superb about 20 minutes from opening as it began to open up. Rich full bouquet and body and medium/long finish. A classic CDR in every way! And still drinking well the second day after vacuvin and fridge storage.

December 19, 2020 - This had a pretty poopy nose, and the palate was like licking drywall. Left it alone and came back to it the next day. Maybe it was simply suffering from reduction; it was a totally different wine. Deep, dark fruit, nice texture, a pleasure to drink. Go figure.

November 13, 2020 - My last of these, and easily the best. More chiseled, earth-rooted, and vertically built. Plenty of fruit, but not heavy or plodding at all. What you want in a northern Rhone Syrah. Very good.
