  March 20, 2024 - I can’t find the wine other tasters describe in kast nights bottle. Stored for 19 years in perfect cellar conditions. Stripped of fruit. While the structure is there the flavor profile is neutered and dull. Not much to really appreciate here. Big disappointment as this was my very last bottle from the initial 2005 seeding of the cellar

  Pure ruby red, beginning to show yellow on the edge, 4.5
  Mature bouquet with fresh red fruits, red currants, sweet stuf from oak, complex
  Racy on the palate, l+T, hA, mB, bone dry, again red currants, sappy, long elegant finish
  Drink now-2040
  This is in the beginning of the drinking window. Incredible youngish and with a good nerve

  November 25, 2023 - What this lacks in fruit and appeal, it exacerbates with structure and spice.
  
  Hints of liqueur-infused sweetness appear along with a hint of medicinal finish, but this is all about power, strength and rigidity.
  
  Not an appealing or delicious wine in my opinion, but it is at least long and interesting.
