September 28, 2021 - 4.5 for this 10 year old cab franc from one of my favorite producers in the valley. Still bright color, deep ruby. Nose is pronounced cherry, blueberry, raspberry, red currant, earthy and spice. All sorts of age on the nose. Dry tobacco.
Dry, light tannin, medium acid, medium %, medium body.
This is dancing in the mouth, cherry, spice, earth, leather, more baking spice.. red notes, raspberry. The fruit is surprisingly fresh and vibrant. Super long finish, raspberry and spice.
