March 8, 2023 - Drank over 3 days. 2 hours S/O didn't get anywhere. Medicinally sweet blue raspberry alcohol kool aid without any character or other definable flavors...after 3 ounce pour was thinking I might just pour it out. Recorked and cellared. Day 2 was about 25% better with dark fruits but still an unbalanced mess. 3rd day was best -maybe a 92...this was a big disappointment compared to the 95 point bottle. Maybe a bottle variation.

May 24, 2022 - Past its prime or maybe it was corked to begin with. It had no life - dead.

December 14, 2021 - Believe this is at peak right now. Gave it about an hour of air with the last 30 minutes in the fridg to chill it slightly. Boy, this is good. No surprise as Greer is pretty consistent (looking forward to the Roy Piper Cabs that start including Greer in 2021).
Starting to show its' age in the color but still very vibrant. Creamy (not syrupy) with piercing dark fruit flavors - blackberry, plum.
After many days on the Winekeeper that last glass included very fine tannins which seemed to result in a burnt toast finish. Not a negative, just very intriguing.
Should last for a few more years, but if I had more I'd drink them sooner than later.

May 26, 2021 - 90 minute Decant: full bodied, blackberry, black currant, plum, cedar, dark chocolate, anise. Lovely, light tannins, layered, 20-30 second finish.
Will it improve? Don't think so, my taste buds preferred this 3-4 years ago.
    95+

November 4, 2020 - Wanted to like this more, still a good amount of fruit but generally out of balance. Would have like more tannin, acid but felt a little flabby.

August 1, 2020 - Wonderful wine. Might be a little sweet for some, but incredibly pure deep cassis. Gorgeous wine PNP

May 13, 2020 - Intense black fruit, cherry, licorice, plum and hints of black tea. With some air, strawberry emerged on the nose. Very primary and concentrated. I wouldn’t call this a fruit bomb. At the same time, it’s hovering on that edge. After more air the finish became a little monilithic with too much black cherry and some heat. Very well made wine if not quite my cup of tea. 94 still young. I always (rightly ir wrongly) like comparing American wines to what I know from Bordeaux. To me, this comes across as a supercharged Cos D’Estournel or Montrose (think northern Medoc in a hot year).

April 5, 2020 - Dense black currant, plum fruit. Ripe, full bodied. Intense licorice, graphite notes. Fine tannins on the finish. Very good now, will continue to improve over next couple of years.

December 21, 2019 - This is a very classic and delicious Cabernet Sauvignon. Black currant, anise, dusty cedar, and violets. Has an intoxicating fragrance that rises from the glass. Still very youthful with loads of tannin remaining predicting many, many years of life ahead.
