June 17, 2019 - Red Brownish color with orange rim. Light and delicate flavors remain of this masculine wine, at least 10-15 years past its peak. Some aromas of ketchup at the beginning got better after a few hours in the bottle but really not too much pleasure drinking this...87 pts.

July 20, 2017 - The wine was dark garnet in colour and offered floral notes/withered flowers, good red and dark fruit, tobacco, spices and pencil shaving on the nose. On the palate the wine showed dark fruit, some cocoa, tobacco, spices and some graphite, with good acidity, mostly resolved tannin and average to good length. The medium-bodied wine was slightly drying on the mid-palate, but other than that reasonably smooth and reasonably balanced, and drank well. A good Bordeaux. Drink now and over the next 5+ years.

February 23, 2007 - Initially very blackcurranty and brambly with some tobacco, it was also a shade drying on the palate. This has settled down after an hour or so, to reveal a slightly meaty, sweaty nose. A more supple palate, but still slightly charmless. A somewhat short finish. A food wine really.
