June 4, 2014 - Good summer Sauvignon Blanc. Reliable & consistent.

June 4, 2013 - My wife who really enjoys a good sauvignon blanc was a little disappointed in this wine. Sure it's a good price and from what I hear Chile is making some decent sauv blancs but this really can't be one of them. Big fruit/grapefruit nose which is also affirmed on the front palate when drinking. At mid the acidity starts to be present and on the back side it's so dominant you hardly taste anything else. As it lingers it even becomes more unpleasant with a chalky bitter aftertaste that unfortunately lingers way too long.
