July 3, 2014 - A little unnerving to open this one. Golden colour, very strongly perfumed, a lot of phenolics and some tannins from the skin contact. If i were to taste it completely blind I would have sworn from the spiciness and tannin that it was a pinot noir. Tasted along side a few other interesting wines and it was a head above in quality/polish

April 15, 2013 - Seminario sulla sensorialità - Porthos, Roma: (degustato alla cieca) Grasso, ricco, sensazioni di vitigno aromatico, panettone, zafferano, smalto. Un naso "pesante". In bocca verve acida tagliente, sapido e molto intrigante, segni di piacevole ossidazione, quasi un succo di frutta fermentato, da un'idea di vino degli antichi.
