  April 25, 2024 - Olives! Olives everywhere. The most prominent nose of olive. Really quite extraordinary. Some green olives on the palate too along with a lovely dried fruit and cedar to level it out. A nice treat for a 21 year old wine. Still some great life in the bottle. Drink now.

  bonus bottle provided by The Cyclist. have never had a 20+ year old Napa cab franc. this was best fresh out of the bottle. while this has lost its energy and acidity, it still had nice black fruits, stewed plums, and nice purity of fruits.

  October 2, 2015 - Drank tonight with salty caramel biscotti. Great body. this wine has a lot left. Glad I have 1 more!

  Consistent with the previous bottle. Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of violets, currants, plums and cherries. Flavors of plums, currants and berries. Medium acidity and tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short term.
