May 10, 2010 - This wine is showing wonderfully right now. Lots of fruit (stewed and dried cherries) balanced with mellow tannins and a lingering acidity. Tasted over 4 1/2 hours. IT was best at the 2 to 3 hour mark. At the 4 hour mark it began to lose the fruit and acidity becoming flat.

June 14, 2007 - No formal notes. Considerably less acidity then the 2001 Sanford SRH pinot noir that we had preceding this wine. Preferred this to the Sanford and it was a better match with my entree of beef finacier with mushroom ragout and white truffle infused demi-glaze at Latour. A balanced layered wine with good depth. Very enjoyable and drinking nicely!

December 24, 2006 - Love the complexity of this wine. Lots of rose petal aromatics. Some sour cherry flavors. Pairs quite well with food.
