Community Tasting Notes 30

November 17, 2023 - Friday Group Brown Bag Tasting (Eagle Brook CC): Double blind. Aroams of dark fruit, plum, and currants. A bit high-toned, picks up a balsamic note with air. Full-bodied, with an abundance of dark fruit on the palate. Balanced. Guessed syrah. (R&D)

July 23, 2023 - Abundant blueberries and blackberries, but not jammy. Well structured tannins.

April 14, 2022 - On opening, was still kind of primary with big black fruit and firm tannins. Opened up as the night went on and gave more secondary flavors, but it's still a (a very well-made) petite punch in the mouth. Drinking well now, but could go longer, I think.

August 8, 2020 - Blue fruit, not chewy like some PS but this is in that Ridge drinkable style. I don't see it improving but it's drinking wonderfully right now including on night 2. I won't rush my last couple bottles... probably in next 2-3 years.

January 11, 2020 - Plenty of blueberry, balckberry, and other dark fruit. Tannins well integrated. Finish is a bit astringent. I don't see this improving with time, but if I had another bottle, I would wait a few years just to see.
