  November 22, 2014 - 2014 Italian Wine Tasting Event (Allesia's Ristorante Italiano - Mesa, AZ): Easy drinking red table wine. Nice balance and mouth-feel for an inexpensive wine. This red is made with a minimum of oak influence and the freshness of the fruit shines through as a result. The structure is just barely enough with medium tannins and medium-high acidity, but for $12 retail, this wine will accompany most all Italian fare without a hitch. The palate is dominated by a fruit-forward presentation of black and red cherry with a relatively short finish.

  March 12, 2014 - OK wine; started out disjointed, opened up somewhat but never showed much; not much bouquet, not complex, ok fruit, drank in an Italian restaurant for $39 which is way too much for this wine; if you pay retail it makes a little more sense but would not drink again.
