  December 21, 2018 - A relatively modest Amarone, but delicious. The nose was forward with black cherries and plums. The palate had some horsepower with the dark fruit, some chewiness that a good amarone needs, some earth and a good bit of acid to deal with the sweet elements of this wine.

  February 27, 2014 - The nose was confectionary with ripe black cherry and cinnamon, yet turned savory in the glass as hints of undergrowth and wild herbs joined the mix. On the palate, it was weighty, yet silky with medicinal cherry, dark chocolate and savory herbs. The staying finish showed bitter cherry and dark chocolate, which seemed to go on and on. Very nice.

  May 29, 2013 - Robe grenat moyen, larmes colorées. Nez d'intensité prononcée, fruit noir mûr, fumé, en cours d'évolution. Acidité élevée, tannins moyens +, alcool élevé, corps charpenté, arômes de fruit cuit, cacao, épices. Finale longue. Garde assurée. 45 euros.
