December 13, 2015 - Wonderful. Aromatics that are startling in their purity, and at the same time are almost tense, with smoky slate-y savoy tones that after a few hours open basically overshadow the tropical tinged fruit. Real intensity and palate presence, so much so that it stains the palate and leaves a musky smoky scent in the nostrils. This wine is deeply complex and not at all yet fully unwound, and it is very lovely now - Imagine what 5 years will bring!
