September 2, 2023 - This was stunning. Didn't expect too much but this showed up very fresh, balanced, beautiful structure. No signs of heat or alcohol, very refined. Aromas of tobacco, herbs, pencil shavings and cassis. Not the longest wine but unbelievable Quality/Price-range for less than 30,- in auction

January 26, 2022 - Medium ruby color. Lovely aromas of prunes, dark cherries, tobacco, smoke, barnyard. High on acidity, balanced, medium bodied. Drying and bitter at the end.

September 25, 2021 - Still keeping strong, but tertiary notes are now getting more in the fore. I suggest drinking up in the near future.

December 12, 2019 - As a professional wine writer, just retired after 22 years of published articles, I agree with many of the more recent reviews. Subdued cedar, smoke, leather and wonderfully fragrant; it’s medium bodied, not overblown, nor super ripe as one might assume in 2003. It is a bit tough and bitter on the finish. The slightly harsh and drying aftertaste suggests drinking now. This is a good effort in this extremely hot year.

July 15, 2019 - Dark purple in the glass with a nice nose of fruit and flowers. The wine itself gives blackcurrant, is a bit rustic and has a nice, long and a bit dry tannic finish. Solid Bordeaux, can still gain a bit in time.
