  September 12, 2014 - Pre Napa Dinner at Chez Walker - Special Guests: Lindy Novak, Gary & Liz Fisch, Vasquez/Silverstein (Chez Walker - Princeton, NJ): Aperitif, first wine for what proved to be an amazing evening with friends.

  May 23, 2014 - In "the OC" for Memorial day weekend, as predicted Valerie didn't like this...
  
  Consistent with prior notes. Noticed on this one it was a little tighter out of the bottle, drank much better after 20 minutes. Will drink remaining bottles this summer

  August 27, 2013 - At home with Charlotte and Valerie, paired with the latest version of my turkey burgers. Was eager to try this, hard to get, Gary's came through this year with an allocation.
  
  Translucent peach color, very light. Nose is light fruit and crushed stone. Rich and very round palate - not Calif- like as a rose. Lighter acidity. Mid palate: strawberry, melon, light citrus, Creamy finish.
  
  When our group last visited KA Vineyards, Julien Fayard (Azur) was apprenticing under Phillipe Melka. From Provence he was focusing on these wines. Not sure if he is still there but these are terrific Rose wines made in a Provencal style with CA fruit forward characteristics
