June 23, 2015 - She wants a 90 and I'm at 88, so we'll compromise ... if only Congress would behave like this!! Interesting ripe red fruit on the nose and palate, but you have to throw in the 'fun' stuff with the blend, so you have this funky red Italian thingy going with some acidity and rusticness going on. We enjoyed it.

March 11, 2014 - A simple and very good food wine. A good balance of plummy fruit, acid and thin tannins. As you should expect pairs well with Italian foods. Enjoy.

January 7, 2014 - Caught this one just in time. Cork was sodden and leakage evident but no spoilage. Exhibits good acidity but low tannins. Good deep berry fruit with leather tones. A nose of black or marionberries with notes of camphor.
