September 27, 2021 - I was pleasantly surprised by how well this bottle had aged. In my experience, with Adam's kabinetts mostly, his sweet wines drink better when they are on the younger side. The freshness tends to fade away to make room for rounder, more flamboyant nuances. While still balanced and enjoyable with age, I prefer them in their youth. This trocken was in a good place, especially when considering it was 9 years old. It didn't blow my mind but it was quite enjoyable and I look forward to drinking my last 3 bottles in the next year or two. This wine definitely drinks above it's price point and makes me want to search out more of Adam's dry wines.

July 13, 2014 - As trocken goes this is pretty solid. It is dry, but certainly not taut. It has perceptions of died sand, tart lime, and a hint of bitters. It goes down smooth and crisp, and finishes well.

July 12, 2014 - Terry Theise Tasting of Newly Released German Wine with Robert Houde (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Tasting, brief note. Large scaled and high quality fruit. Very balanced, textured with impressive length for its level. Very good value wine.
