  December 13, 2022 - Drinking really well at the moment and retains a sense of gracefulness despite the auslese weight. Relatively young but starting to show some signs of maturity- should age forever.

  June 3, 2022 - #13-06, 8.5% abv. This is drinking better than I remember it back in 2015. The nose shows a bit of sponti still, with floral notes over something that evokes mineral dust. The fruit flavours here aren't too pronounced, but are muted in favour of a far more mineral complexion. Quite light on the attack and midpalate, this picks up steam on the finish, with some really intense Gerolsteiner-like minerality. Fantastic.

  February 27, 2015 - #13-06, 8.5% abv. Very pale colour, slight tinge of green on the palate. The nose has a moderate hint of sulphur, but more dominant is the very pretty floral notes and tart apples. The palate has moderate sweetness, a bit of smoke, and some baked almond-apple pie. The acidity isn't too loud here, but everything is in balance. A whole helluva lot of slate on the palate. This has a surprisingly racy texture -- a lot less palate-coating and dense than I'd expect.
