  November 4, 2023 - I was lucky to find a few of these at auction for $17. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc added. 124 cases made. Aged in 50% new French oak. Opened for an hour but not decanted. Crimson color without any bricking. Notes of iron, pepper and pomegranate. Integrated tannins. Medium body and soft finish. Drink now. I have 2 more bottles which I will likely open over the next 2 years. 88 points.

  April 19, 2020 - This is finally coming around. Still youthful with above avg acidity, this os light bodied for a cabernet, has beautiful ruby red color and is translucent. Age has done wonders for this wine but still needs food.

  September 4, 2016 - Pop and pour. Served alongside an '06 Montelena estate Cab, and was the better of the two on this night. Consistent notes as prior bottles. Very nice.

  May 15, 2016 - Opened at Boulder with Jim and our wives. This is still very fruit forward and incredibly light in color and body. Drinking well. I noticed from my last note that this gained in complexity with time, but this bottle did not last long enough for that to happen on this night.
