  September 6, 2008 - Decanted for 1 hour. Very deep, dark red color. Ripe berry on the nose. Tremendous taste and nice finish. A great wine!

  April 5, 2008 - Very funky upon opening. Nearly concluded it was a bad bottle due to overwhelmingly tart cherries on the nose. Had it not been for the synthetic cork, it would have been written off. Instead, I let the bottle breath for a good hour. Everything started coming back into better balance. Pretty mellow tannins right now. Still a little acidity to give it punch. Even more enjoyable the second day. Window is closing though.
