June 16, 2021 - Thought this would be past prime so opened as a potential marinating wine. What a surprise. Mellow tannins but with structure. Smooth drinker. Beautifully aged and drinking French classic.

May 20, 2016 - Ok before I begin. This wine was 13 bucks. So.. Yeah. Musty fruit on the nose, but subtly so. Uneventful and subdued entry, but pleasant. If there are tannins they are extremely smooth and integrated, just hint, but not chewy in the least. Enough acidity to balance the entry, and a brief, but consistent with what preceded it, finish. Thoroughly not bad. I'd like to re-remind you of the price at this point. Low risk wine, with a slightly better return on investment than expected.

June 23, 2013 - This is the first vintage I have had of this particular label...and it did not impress. Reasonable concentration, otherwise disjointed and lacking balance, showing bitterness (pips and stems), and stewed fruits. Pass.
