January 26, 2024 - Deep black core with ruby-purple on the edges. Violets, cocoa powder, espresso, forest floor, tar, graphite, blackberries and black cherries on the nose. Rich and concentrated, nice core of raspberries, boysenberries, and cassis. Leather, flowers, dried fruit. Long, velvety finish. Silky-smooth, slightly chalky tannins, a bit juicy in acidity. Can hold for a few 3-5 more years I think, but time to drink up.

November 4, 2023 - Purple garnet in color. Wine is bone dry, no residual, acid is medium high, tannins are integrated, fine and ripe. Alcohol is medium high. Finish is long.

Aromas are vanilla, cassis, blue berries, dark cherries.
On the palate, dark fruits, black currants, dark cherries, black berries cassis, licorice, thyme, sage, oak and vanilla.

June 28, 2023 - Coravin by the glass. Aromas of violet, blackberry, currant, tobacco, graphite and forest floor. Black fruit, tobacco, graphite, forest floor and fine tannins on the palate. Very long finish. Medium to full bodied. Very pretty, modern Bdx. Served with grilled blue cheese, prosciutto and fig burgers.

May 6, 2023 - Really nice, good Bordeaux nose, crushed stone and pencil lead. Wild cherry fruit that gets deeper and sweeter with air. Drinking well. A touch modern but very nice.
