May 19, 2017 - Delicious! Classic old world Rhone style. Smooth, round, medium-medium-plus body, with fine, resolved tannins. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, florals, spice, wet stone and worn leather. Everything I love about Southern Rhone wines. I assume this has a handful of years left, though drinking well now.

October 28, 2015 - Comparé au 2010 il souffre la comparaison, cela a cause d'un léger déséquilibre le portant sur l'alcool. Il est (trop) typé sud et accuse une chaleur pointue, là où le 10 semblait plus homogène, plus ramassé et plus fin.
Toutefois, pour les amateurs de CDR typiques, aux fruits (rouges et noirs) mêlés de notes plus végétales (garrigue), il reste un bon et honnête compagnon de repas automnal. -

January 21, 2015 - 35% oak. 60/30/10 GSM. Nose shows funk, turned earth, dark fruit, light spice, fig. Palate is expressive in an Old World style, definitely a funky wine but tasty. Raisinated blackberry, cherry pit, tea leaves, forest leaves, stewed tomato. Acidity medium, complexity medium. Short finish. Fun wine, good QPR.
