August 2, 2022 - PnP. Medium red. Lovely nose of red fruits especially cherry with some spice. This is quite intense on the palate driven by a velvety texture and red fruits and a long finish. Better than last bottle I think and likely close to peak. Lovely wine.

May 14, 2022 - Slo-oxed for 20 minutes, but will have to agree with Rick 4 Wine that more air time is better -- a 20-30 minute decant may work best. A medium violet color with dark red fruit (black cherry) and forest floor on the nose. These follow on to the medium bodied palate along with some spice, balancing acidity and a touch of tannins. Should hold for another couple (?few?) years.

February 6, 2022 - 5 1/2 years after the prior: Rosenst1’s note below describes it very well. To that we will add: elegant, savory, with refreshing acidity. The hints of cola on the first night that we had noted years ago happily did not exist in this bottle. Extremely enjoyable over three nights. We suspect this will hold well for a few years, but alas, our last.

September 24, 2021 - PnP. Medium deep red. Intense nose of cherries and spice. On the palate this is multi-dimensional with cherry, rhubarb, and lavender, as well as spicy notes. Lovely palate depth and elegance with little in the way of tannins to resolve but very good acid to cleanse the palate. This seems to be in its drinking window but no rush.

February 26, 2021 - Drinking nicely here. Benefits from 30-45 minutes of slow ox from the cellar.
