February 3, 2005 - Beautiful pure medium cherry ruby color with a shade of Concord grape purple. Gobs of glycerin lengthen slowly down the glass. Concord grape scents mix with plum and dark berry hints. Tannic on the attack with the taste of oak initially in a big fleshy taste. Needs to breathe to beat down the tannins and oak, but not long. A nice medium to full bodied ripe taste develops quickly with fruits balanced by acidity and a little complexity. Nice wine but especially at this price.
