October 19, 2015 - Brunello Di Montalcino, A Fine wine Tasting hosted by Chris Pollington (Berry Bros & Rudd, London): Quite a bit of colour here. Dark red. Darker fruit on the nose, herby edge. Quite round on palate, good acidity, but a touch watery on the mid palate and then the tannin hits you. Quite a bit of tannin here at this stage and definitely leaves a very dry feel to the finish. Needs a lot of time but hopeful that it will evolve. 89-90 for now though
