July 23, 2014 - Great quaff. Dry with a hint of strawberry, a little grapefruit peel on the back end. With an Italian sausage sandwich on a 95 degree day...perfect!

March 25, 2014 - Unlike the previous reviewer I find this enjoyable, but I haven't tasted a previous vintage so can't compare. Smells like yeasty bread, a bit of cheese, black pepper, and reticent grapey fruit. On the palate, tart barely ripe strawberry and green apple, somewhat austere, but fresh and tasty. Light, dry, good acidity, a touch of tannic grip. Not exactly complex or interesting, but refreshing and highly drinkable.

March 21, 2014 - Again: what a difference a year makes. The 2011 was my favorite bottle of the year. Had the third of my 2012s last night and it was the worst yet. Increasingly this just seems like a tough growing season that couldn't be overcome even by Quastana. Let us consider this one a write-off, or a genius tithe, and may 2013 again give him the grapes he needs.
