June 8, 2015 - Deep color. The nose shows very ripe dark fruits, spice, garrigue and a hint of flowers. This is medium full bodied on the palate, with good concentration and plenty of rich fruit. Soft and easy to appreciate. The medium plus length finish features slightly rustic tannins.

April 16, 2014 - I tried to hold off drinking my last bottle, but this is a phenomenal CDR Villages. Full of juicy berry flavor with terrific texture, this is an absolute steal from Feraud-Brunel from the vintage.

April 3, 2014 - This wine is the result of a partnership between two of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s greatest winemakers, André Brunel of ‘Domaine les Cailloux’ and Laurence Féraud of ‘Domaine du Pégau’. A well-made Rhône wine, a blend of 75 percent Grenache (old vines) and 25 percent Syrah. Youthful purple-red color and an opulent nose with scents blackberry, plum and violets, intermixed with hints of white pepper and smoke. Juicy palate revealing fresh red and black fruit, a good concentration and harmonious tannins. Elegant, peppery aftertaste. Drink it now and over the next three years.
