December 31, 2022 - Tried upon opening and after four days. Tight on day one withbright red fruit and licorice . Much more open on day four, delivering large amounts of fruit together with hints of herbs. Amazingly fresh and balanced with an aftertaste lasting for a minute. Drinks surprisingly well now after a few days opened. Wait 5 years for next try? Will likely improve for a long time.

January 9, 2022 - Getting there — almost ready to drink. I would suggest letting this lie for 10 years if you can. Still, it tastes great and is a nice after dinner aperitif.

February 4, 2017 - Once again, drank over several months. Sealed with vacuvin and left in the wine room in between. The last glasses were the best. A great port.
