April 29, 2023 - Perhaps better at an earlier date, but at this point stewed, overly sweet and potentially corked. Stored professionally at considerable expense, so discounting the possibility of it being corked. Guessing its well passed its sell-by date.

November 9, 2016 - Nose is soil laced, earthy and herbal in nature. The wine is light bodied yet surprisingly flavorful on the palate. Reddish dark cherry, raspberry fruit and tobacco flavors. This Howell Mountain Cabernet is more elegant and fruity and structured in style. I expected a bigger wine, yet it’s a nice mid-week wine. I purchased it at Costco and it’s not bad, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again, it’s just not my style. 90.5 points
Day 2: A little better but I really don't like the herbal notes - I'll go a solid 91 points. -

May 22, 2016 - Decanted for 30 minutes and served at Game of Thrones viewing party. Very smooth and tasty, was universally given thumbs up by some fussy drinkers. Will buy more.
