June 4, 2020 - Medium to dark purple with minimal garnet. Nose is tobacco dark fruit and cassis. Palate is a mouthful of fruit and spice. Blackberry blueberry and cassis tied together with earthy tobacco acid and fine tannins. So glad I waited for this.

January 12, 2018 - Nicely balanced now. No need to decant.

February 18, 2016 - This is very good value for a low cost red from Costco. The wine is a deep purple color, good dark fruit nose, and plenty of legs when swirling the glass. The taste is classic Aussie Shiraz with a strong aftertaste. Plenty of tannin. While not a wine to sip on its own, it would be an excellent accompaniment to any suitable meal.

February 12, 2016 - Not as good as prior vintages (I understand the 2011 was a washout for some Aussie vintners), but good...certainly not great. Did not have the depth or complexity of prior vintages, so would suggest bypassing this vintage in the store and waiting for the 2012 and 2013.
If you have any, drink now.
